A short after story for Asrai Devin’s Complications over Coffee ties up some loose ends for all the previous characters.

Where the Path Leads was written to tie up the loose ends of Second Chance Romance, Summer Fling, and Complications over Coffee. Since I was a bit mean at the end of Complications and had Mandy having contractions.

My original plan had Doug Black’s sister, Amy, with Corey. And then I would write Doug’s story right after that, and the plan wasn’t to be with Sophia.

But  after writing Corey and Amy three different ways and probably more than 50, 000 words, I realized Corey needed a woman with children. He loved Colton, he would be a natural father. So then I was going to write Doug’s story, but he also needed a woman with children. I actually wrote his story before Amy’s and there is an oops, because when I wrote When Love Knocks Amy and Adam were supposed to be happy.

I don’t know what all happened to make it work the way it did. I’m really not in charge of the stories, the characters are, I just write them down.

So anyway, after I left Mandy in labor, and everything got screwed up, I got some upset messages. So I quickly wrote Where the Path Leads to tie up those loose ends.
